Updating the firmware
The Sway Breeze updates its firmware automatically when it has an internet connection through the Sway app. In most cases you don’t need to do anything — the update happens in the background.
Check your current version
Section titled “Check your current version”- Connect your phone to the Breeze WiFi network
- Open the Sway app
- Tap the 3 dots in the top right corner to open the menu
- Your current firmware version is shown here
Manually trigger an update
Section titled “Manually trigger an update”If your firmware is outdated, you can update it from the same menu:
- Connect your phone to the Breeze WiFi network
- Open the Sway app and tap the 3 dots in the top right
- If an update is available, tap Update firmware
- Keep the app open and stay connected to the Breeze until the update is complete — this takes about a minute
- The Breeze will restart automatically once the update is done
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”If the update fails or the device does not restart:
- Make sure your phone has an active internet connection (4G or another WiFi network) during the update
- Try restarting the Breeze by disconnecting and reconnecting the power
