Status LED
The LED on the side of the Sway Breeze shows the current status of the device at a glance.
| LED color | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 🔵 Blue | Breeze is on and receiving NMEA messages |
| 🔴 Red | Breeze is on but receiving no NMEA messages |
| 🟠 Orange | Breeze is on and receiving NMEA messages, but no valid GPS position |
| 🟢 Green | Multi-reset detected — returning to factory settings |
What to do per status
Section titled “What to do per status”Blue — everything is working correctly. The Sway app can connect and data is being logged.
Red — the Breeze has power via the NMEA 2000 network, but is not receiving any messages. Check that:
- At least one GPS receiver is connected and switched on
- Both ends of the backbone have terminators
- All cables are properly seated in their connectors
Orange — the Breeze is receiving NMEA data, but no valid GPS position. Check that:
- A GPS receiver is connected and switched on
- The GPS receiver has a clear view of the sky
- The boat has an active GPS fix
